The Bellefonte boys’ basketball team dominated in overtime to take down Philipsburg-Osceola 47-34 on Friday night.
The Red Raiders outscored the Mounties 14-1 in the extra period.
“It was a good high school basketball game,” Bellefonte coach Darin Hazel said. “P-O is a super scrappy team.”
The Red Raiders trailed by two points going into the fourth quarter.
Bellefonte held the Mounties to two points in the fourth. Big plays by Tyler Kreger helped Bellefonte get the four points needed to get them to overtime tied 33-33.
Bellefonte’s Hunter Knisely led all scorers with 16 points. Kreger finished with 11 points, and Bryce Steiner added 10.
Bellefonte (2-4) will host Clearfield on Wednesday.
