Three sixth-inning runs broke a deadlock and gave Carlisle enough cushion to beat State College 10-7 on Tuesday.
The Thundering Herd’s Micaha Knisley earned the win, allowing one run over 2 2/3 innings of work. State College’s Chris Adams was the losing pitcher, as he surrendered all three runs in that sixth frame.
Adams did lead the Little Lions at the plate, though, with an RBI single in the four-run fourth inning, and chipping in a triple in the fifth frame.
Bailey Ishler and Evan Moerschbacher also each had two hits, and Moerschbacher led the team with three RBIs.
