After many delays, the rosters have finally been settled for the Lezzer Lumber Football Classic, with 11 Centre County athletes expected to take part.

The 32nd annual all-star football game will be played at 7 p.m. Friday at Altoona’s Mansion Park.

A strong contingent of State College players will be on the North Team roster for the game, an annual battle of the top seniors in the region. Little Lions set to hit the field are running back-defensive back Jordan Misher, receiver-defensive back Kellin Valentine and linemen Mark Weakland, Doug Swoboda and Wade Bonsell.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy will send two players in quarterback Mike Kresovich and receiver-defensive back Charles Ross.

Penns Valley will be represented by receiver-defensive back Ben Alexander and running back-linebacker Chase Collison.

Elliott Peters will be the Bald Eagle Area representative as a running back-linebacker, while Philipsburg-Osceola quarterback Jacob Anderson is also a member of the team.

The North is coached by Brockway’s Frank Zocco, with practices all this week in Brockway. The South will be coached by Justin Wheeler of PIAA Class A champion Bishop Guilfoyle.
