State College Spikes-Williamsport Crosscutters rained out

The State College Spikes’ game at Williamsport was rained out Monday night.

The Spikes and Crosscutters will make up the postponment with a doubleheader — with a pair of 7-inning games — at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

The doubleheader should prove to be a critical one in the standings. Both State College (15-11) and Williamsport (14-10) are just a half-game back behind Pinckney Division leader West Virginia.
