Two people severely injured in Pleasant Gap crash
A woman, who was described by the Spring Township Police Department as a young mother, was severely injured Friday in a three-vehicle crash.
The crash occurred at about 3 p.m. on the 200 block of West College Avenue in Pleasant Gap, according to the Pleasant Gap Fire Co.
The woman, police said, was a passenger in a minivan that crossed the center line and crashed into two trucks. She was taken by helicopter to UPMC Altoona. Two drivers were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, and police said one appeared to have severe injuries.
Fire units cleared the scene by about 4:30 p.m.
Names of people involved in the crash were not released.
