Police investigate reports of mail tampering

State police at Philipsburg are investigating multiple incidents in which unknown individuals have allegedly stolen and destroyed mail from Port Matilda residences.

In a press release, police detailed multiple incidences in which an individual, or individuals, have removed outgoing mail. The individuals are reportedly opening the mail, tearing it up and throwing it on the ground.
