State House lauds Thon participants

The state House of Representatives on Monday unanimously passed Rep. Kerry Benninghoff’s resolution congratulating participants in the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.

“Thon is about providing hope, love and support for children and their families as they face the toughest battles of their lives,” said Benninghoff, R-Bellefonte. “I continue to be amazed by the efforts of our young people, and could not be prouder.”

Thon 2016 raised about $9.77 million for the Four Diamonds Fund, which supports families dealing with pediatric cancer.
