Penn State alum to appear on new GSN game show
It’s time to once again live vicariously through a Penn State alum. Graduate Charmee Taylor will appear on the game show “Divided.”
The episode, which will air at 9 p.m. Thursday on GSN, pairs Taylor with three other contestants who have to play nice and work together to agree on answers for a chance at winning a piece of a potential $85,000 jackpot.

Taylor moved to Los Angeles three years ago with stars in her eyes. An actress by trade, she’s spent the intervening time learning the film and television business from the ground up.
Taylor has produced television pilots and worked on short films, but had to audition for the “Divided” opportunity the same as any other gig.

The show’s producers wanted to make sure that whatever team they assembled for the episode had strong chemistry. During the audition, Taylor was asked for her thoughts on health care, millennials and Donald Trump.
“I was like ‘OK, I have a pretty strong opinion,’ ” Taylor said.
She taped her episode in early summer and was thrilled with the spontaneity an unscripted game show afforded, comparing the experience to a game of high-stakes improvisation.
Taylor thinks that she’ll even be able to use what she learned in future roles as an actress.
“It was really fun to have an audience there. It was almost like having a live theatrical experience,” Taylor said.
