Country singer Chris Stapleton adds Happy Valley to his ‘All-American Road Show’
Eight-time Grammy award-winning country singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton will bring his “All-American Road Show” to Happy Valley this fall.
Stapleton announced new dates for his “All-American Road Show” tour Thursday and added a stop in State College. He’ll perform at the Bryce Jordan Center at 7 p.m. Oct. 6. Stapleton will appear with special guests Margo Price and Nikki Lane.
Born in Kentucky, Stapleton has won eight Grammy awards, 15 Country Music Association and 10 Academy of Country Music awards, and is “one of the country’s most respected” musicians, according to a press release from Live Nation Entertainment. He was recently named CMA Male Vocalist of the Year for the sixth time, which set a record for the most wins ever in the category.
Stapleton’s most recent album, “Starting Over,” won Best Country Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards. He’s known for hits such as “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Broken Halos,” “Nobody to Blame” and “Whiskey and You.”
Beyond music, Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, are founders of the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, “which supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart,” the release states. Their “Kentucky Rising” concert in 2022 raised more than $2.8 million to support flood relief in eastern Kentucky.
Tickets will go on sale on at 10 a.m. March 17 at ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $59.75 to $139.75; there is a limit of six tickets per purchase.
