'Summer House' Star Mia Calabrese Wears J.Lo's Iconic Versace Dress at 2026 AMAs
Jennifer Lopez would be proud.
On Monday, Summer Housestar Mia Calabrese took to the red carpet of the 2026 American Music Awards donning Versace. But not just any Versace - it was the dress inspired by the iconic look that Lopez wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000.
The eye-catching green and blue jungle print dress was complete with a deep plunging neckline, side cut outs, and a flowing full-length skirt.
And while the dress was first made famous over 20 years ago - and drummed up so much curiosity that it led to the creation of Google Image Search - the ensemble was given new life in 2019 when the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer closed out Versace's Milan Fashion Week show wearing the new version of the dress, the one Calabrese sported at the award show.
The dress' refreshed look kept the plunging neckline but ditched the sleeves and had more of a bodysuit look to it.
"The first time I wore it, I actually didn't have another dress," Lopez told Vanity Fair in 2020. "Usually I have choices. It was a last-minute thing that caused a sensation that was unexpected."
"The second time was very planned-out," she continued, noting that Donatella Versace herself mentioned that the 20th anniversary of the dress was approaching and that she wanted to design her fashion show around it - with the singer participating.
"The second time I wore it and walked out there, it was such an empowering thing. Twenty years had gone by, and I think for women, knowing you can put on a dress 20 years later - it resonated. It was like, 'Yes, you know, life is not over at 20!'

Calabrese wearing the dress comes after an inspo for its original was worn by a character in the new hit Amazon Prime series Off Campus - which got Lopez's seal of approval.
"Love this shooooww," she wrote.
