5 Weekender questions with Simeon Myers of Northern With Glasses
Simeon Myers, the songwriter and lead singer of Northern With Glasses, recently answered 5 Weekender questions about the band that’s been around for about a year. The trio also includes Sean Farley on guitar and harmonies and Mike Brown, an instrumentalist who plays lap steel, mandolin and banjo in the band.
Q: How long have you been playing?
A: This is a fairly new project. Northern With Glasses has been playing together for about a year.
Q: How do you describe your sound?
A: It’s sort of an alternative folk rock/Americana.
Q: Which musician — alive or dead — do you most wish you could share the stage with?
A: That’s a tough one. Probably Sean Farley and Mike Brown.
Q: What’s your favorite song to play live?
A: We’ve got a song called “Don’t Ask Why” that I really enjoy playing live.
Q: Where can people hear your music?
A: Being such a new project, we are in the process of making a record. It will be released in 2016.
