“Matter of Mind,” a solo exhibit by State College mixed media artist Susan Parsonage, is now on display at Schlow Centre Region Library. Parsonage works in media from woodblock to charcoal, and her displayed pieces include “Into Sunshine.”

The Acoustic Brew Concert Series will present old-timey duo Dirk Powell and Riley Baugus. Powell and Baugus combine their traditional mountain music sounds and skills on the banjo, fiddle and guitar.


The Friends of the Palmer Museum of Art will host its annual Holiday Art and Ornament Sale fundraiser. Caryl Strauss, this year’s featured artist, created the 2015 signature ornament, made from burned-out lightbulbs.


Irish step dancing will complement a mix of modern dance moves and Irish Christmas carols when Darrah Carr Dance performs at Juniata College.
