Huntingdon musician Kevin Quinn, aka Kevo, recently answered five Weekender questions about his “acoustacore” sound and style.
Q: How long have you been playing?
A: I have been in many bands for the past decade.
Q: How do you describe your sound?
A: Raw acoustic energy ... acoustacore.
Q: Which musician — alive or dead — do you most wish you could share the stage with?
A: Sam Cooke, because he’s the king of soul and I used to sing his songs in the mirror in my youth and use a hairbrush as a microphone.
Q: What’s your favorite song to play live?
A: “Roosevelts,” because people sing along and the lyrics are very intimate and mean a lot to me.
Q: Where can people hear your music?
A: You can find my music under Kevo on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and most social networks, streaming and downloading sites and applications.
