Influencer Carly Weinstein Reveals She Broke Up With BF After Marriage Talk
InfluencerCarly Weinstein is back on the market.
Weinstein, 29, took to TikTok on Wednesday, July 8, to reveal that she and Ethan Lewkowicz called it quits after two years of dating. "I love him so much but as we were getting closer to engagement, talking about marriage, talking about the rest of our life, I just realized that something wasn't matching up," she explained.
"I really, really wanted him to be my person," the TikTok star continued. "I really wanted to be married. The more weddings I go to, the more I see my friends finding their people, the more I wondered if something was missing."
Weinstein went on to say that she was the one to make the "tough decision" to break things off before "progressing more." After calling it quits, Weinstein shared that she's had "suppressed" feelings resurface. "Navigating through this is s***ty and it's gonna suck but I also feel hopeful." She added through tears, "I shared this part of my life and it just didn't work out the way that I originally hoped that it would. It's just gonna take a minute for me to adjust to my new life."

Weinstein, who shares an apartment in New York City with Lewkowicz, shared that she has the "best" support system and is going to be "good" in the long run.
"I love you guys. ❤️," she captioned the post. Her friends were quick to support her in the comments section.
Bethenny Frankel wrote, "If you don't know yes it's no… I've made so many mistakes. If you don't love it you don't like it," while Halley Kate McGookin, who tied the knot with Reed Williams over the weekend, added, "You're so strong and I'm so proud of you!!! You have so many amazing things ahead of you and so many people that love you!!" Jaz Smith also commented, "Proud of you ♥️," and Eli Rallo wrote, "so so proud of you for making the hard but best choice for you both 💙 love u."
Weinstein and Lewkowicz celebrated their one-year anniversary in June 2025. At the time, she shared a sweet clip of them dancing and kissing in the street. "How has one year flown by so fast, yet it feels like I've known you forever?" she captioned the post. "Can't believe I'm so lucky to have E in my life 😭💘 #anniversary #1year #couple."
