William and Kate serve up family fun at Wimbledon with their eldest kids

Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton served up plenty of family fun at this year’s Wimbledon.

William and Kate, both 44, stepped out on the final day of the iconic tennis tournament on Sunday, July 12, with their eldest children, Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11. (The married royals also share son Prince Louis, 7, who appeared to be absent on Sunday.)

The Princess of Wales looked elegant in a draped, olive green dress which she completed with a pair of nude pumps and drop earrings. She accentuated her ensemble with a purple plaid bow pinned to her lapel, a signature of her All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club patronage.

William and George, for their parts, twinned in navy suits that complemented Charlotte’s gauzy blue frock. The family stepped out to watch the men’s singles match between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.

Given her patronage, Kate is often a fixture at Wimbledon through the years. She even attended matches on July 2 and Saturday, July 11, respectively. Kate’s presence at the 2026 tournament comes amid her ongoing cancer recovery. (Kate was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024, subsequently undergoing treatment. She announced in January 2025 that she was in remission.)

“I think it means a lot to the players and to tennis fans to see the royal family at Wimbledon,” tennis legend Andy Murraytold Hello! on Saturday, referring to Kate’s continued appearance on the court. “It’s part of the tradition of Wimbledon and the fans really like that, especially the overseas fans. She is definitely a tennis fan and she plays a bit herself, I think.”

“Cancer doesn’t just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life,” she stated at the time. “I know this personally, and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone.”
