State College's Kevin Karstetter named CDT Athlete of the Week

State College’s Kevin Karstetter is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore was 5 for 9 with three extra-base hits as the Little Lions won two of three games for the week. His week was capped with a 3 for 4 performance including a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored in an 8-1 win over Hazleton on Saturday.

He also had two doubles and a stolen base, and scored a total of five runs, as the Little Lions also beat Carlisle 17-0 and fell 7-6 to Cumberland Valley.
