Another internet provider is coming into the Lehigh Valley. Here are the details

A telecommunications company announced that it is expanding its high-speed fiber internet network into the Lehigh Valley.

Greenlight Networks said it plans to invest $62 million to reach thousands of Valley customers by the end of 2027.

About $33 million will be used to build infrastructure in Bethlehem. Construction is already underway downtown, the company said Monday, and about 22,000 households will have access by the end of the spring.

"We're excited to bring more choice to Pennsylvania residents and businesses," said Mark Murphy, CEO of Greenlight Networks. "As we begin construction in Bethlehem and prepare for continued expansion across the region, we're focused on delivering not just fast, reliable internet, but also meaningful community partnerships."

The Lehigh Valley expansion builds on Greenlight's 2025 acquisition of Loop Internet, which added local staff and resources in northeast Pennsylvania. Greenlight's acquisition of FastBridge Fiber, which is expected to close mid-2026, will add to the company's footprint across southeastern Pennsylvania.

Residents in these areas, in addition to those in Bethlehem, can go to greenlightnetworks.com/lehigh-valley-pa to check availability, sign up for updates and pre-order service as construction progresses.
