Alan Ritchson's 'Reacher' Show Working on Season 5: Report
Season 4 of the popular action series "Reacher" is confirmed for a release on Amazon Prime Video sometime later this year.
The show's star Alan Ritchson, who players titular character Jack Reacher, revealed that he wrapped up post production on the show in an announcement three weeks ago.
While the show has yet to announce an official release date for Season 4, past seasons debuted about a month after post production wrapped.
"Happy to be back in the booth after such a crazy week! That's a wrap for me on post-production - #Reacher Season 4," Ritchson wrote in an Instagram post. "This is, without a doubt the most gripping season yet. I think we hit our stride. Firing on all cylinders… as it were."
On Monday, April 20, a report from Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider shed light on another exciting new development for the beloved series.
"Reacher" Season 5 is reportedly already in production at Amazon, despite the lack of an official renewal announcement.
"COOL NEWS: No official renewal yet, but Season 5 of REACHER is in the works at Amazon. Season 4 is expected to debut later this year..." Sneider reporters.

For now, "Reacher" fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 4. The upcoming season will adapt the 13th book of Lee Child's novel series, "Gone Tomorrow."
Ritchson hyped up Season 4 of "Reacher" during an interview with Men's Journal in September 2025.
"If you follow the other seasons, you know that they've gotten progressively better, more interesting," Ritchson said. "Season 3, I think, was especially well received. I thoroughly enjoyed the way we put that together, and the mystery and the reveals. It was true to Reacher, and it was him at his best so far. So, with that in mind, I say this with confidence: We're somehow upping the stakes quite a bit. This is going to be the best season we've had yet. And definitely the bloodiest."
