Rescue Pug Acts Like Dad Personally Caused the Rain and Won't Let It Go

Dogs love structure and expect things on a certain schedule. My Dachshund and my Pug mix know when it's time for breakfast, dinner, and those beloved walks. It's like they both have an internal alarm clock set to these daily activities and get into a full-blown huff at the slightest change in their day-to-day routine.

Milton the rescue Pug had his hopes up for his daily walk and basically blamed his dad when the weather didn't cooperate.

In the TikTok from @jongraz, Milton sat in the passenger seat sporting a bright yellow raincoat. The pouting Pug's expression showed he was clearly upset as he sadly stared out the window and watched the rain fall. Obviously, Milton expected to go on his usual walk, but the weather dampened both his plans and his spirit.

The canine cutie's father tried talking to him, but Milton gave him the cold shoulder as if his dad caused the deluge. The fur baby totally froze him out.

"Milton, can you forgive me for this?" his dad asked contritely.

Milton Remained Silent

The depressed dog didn't even make eye contact with his father. He just stared off into the distance, like he was searching for the meaning of life in the wake of this injustice. Then, Milton turned away from his dad to continue looking out the window to ponder what might have been if he had been able to go for his daily stroll.

Followers sided with Milton and understood why he was too distraught to speak on the matter.

"He literally gave it some thought and then said, um no," one noted.

"I'm not sure what you did, but I agree with him," another remarked.

"The side eye - you are indeed, my friend, in trouble," a follower pointed out.

"He's not mad, just VERY disappointed in you," someone posted.

"He appeared to consider it but his better judgment kicked in," a fan explained.

Maybe Milton wasn't crazy about the raincoat his dad made him wear, or he felt the watery weather was still walkable, but his dad wasn't game to get wet. Regardless, the precious Pug spoke volumes with a single stare and would probably need a lot of treats before even considering any sort of peace talks.
