Popular Pizza Chain Rolls Out New Offering - And It's a First
Pizza is really a great treat any season, but there's something about having a summer pizza party that just hits right. Takeout pizza is the just-right treat for a movie night, pool party or simply an evening under the stars.
Now, Little Caesars has debuted a new pizza that has quite a twist. It's in conjunction with the upcoming Spider-Man movie, which reaches theaters July 31.
Little Caesars is teaming up with Sony and Spider-Man: Brand New Day to debut a new Webberoni Pizza. Get it, Webberoni?
About the Spider-Man-Inspired Pizza
"Inspired by Spider-Man's iconic web-slinging superpowers, Webberoni Pizza features a 'web' of shredded pepperoni and toasted cheeses on top," a press release provided to Men's Journal states. "The combination of shredded pepperoni and toasted two-cheese blend offers customers an opportunity to get pepperoni in every bite."
The release adds that starting this week, Little Caesars pizzas are served in special Spider-Man-inspired pizza boxes. So, the Webberoni pizzas are already out there and getting rave reviews.
Also, starting July 6, every customer who purchase a Webberoni pizza in-store or online will get an exclusive poster. "There will be three limited-edition poster designs that refresh weekly at each participating Little Caesars location, so fans will have a chance to collect them all while supplies last," the release adds.
"Our goal is to connect with consumers in cultural moments and areas where they are passionate," Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, said in a statement. "We're thrilled to work with Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer to bring the world's favorite superhero into our stores and homes across the country, creating a unique pizza occasion the entire family can enjoy."
As with any special offering, this won't last forever. Little Caesars says that the Webberoni pizza is only available for a limited time, so snag it before its web goes away.
