On the Scene at Schlow Library’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week

Schlow Centre Region Library celebrated National Volunteer Appreciation Week with a Kentucky Derby-themed appreciation brunch on April 7. The library honored 93 volunteers in the annual event, which was sponsored by the Schlow Library Foundation.

In 2015, Schlow volunteers provided 7,363 hours of service to the library, which is the equivalent of 3.6 full time employees, according to a press release.
