Q: How long have you been in business?
A: I have owned the Hot Dog House for 31 years and still enjoy it very much, but the Hot Dog House has been serving the Bellefonte area since 1962.
Q: What are your top menu items?
A: Our top seller for sure is the Texas dog, but we have a full menu starting with full breakfast opening at 5:30 a.m.
Q: What’s the atmosphere like?
A: (It’s) a happy place where strangers feel right at home.
Q: What’s the best thing about your location?
A: Our location is the first restaurant you come to with table service counter and take-out coming in to Bellefonte from State College, with off-street parking lot behind the Hot Dog House.
Q: What’s special about the food in Centre County?
A: Centre County has a lot to offer in a variety of different foods, but I am very fond of the small-town restaurants that are family-run.
