Q: How long have you been around?
A: We started our first shop in Reading over 25 years ago. The company has grown significantly in that time, and we opened our State College location in 2007. We also have locations in Philadelphia, Boiling Spring and, of course, our Reading location.

A: We are a full-service fly-fishing outfitter. We offer educational classes, full-guide service, equipment rental and everything you need to have a great day on the water. We support our local conservation groups to promote a healthy ecosystem and promote an active outdoor lifestyle.
Q: What are your top sellers?
A: That really depends on the time of year. During the winter, our local community focuses on fly-tying so we sell a good deal of materials to accommodate that. Prime season (April through June) we see an influx of people coming to fish the amazing waters we have here in central Pennsylvania. During that time, flies and terminal tackle tend to be the top sellers. All of the brands we sell are recognized as the best you can get in the sport.
Q: What’s the best thing about your location?
A: State College might just be the best spot for fly-fishing on the East Coast. We are within an hour drive of some of the most premier trout waters in Pennsylvania. The variety of freshwater species you can target is exceptional. Trout, small and largemouth bass, musky, panfish, all of them are just a short drive from our shop here in State College.
Q: What is the best way to “play” in Centre County?
A: Fly-fishing, of course. We are fortunate enough to have some of the best fly-fishing in the country so get out and enjoy it. Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses along the way and enjoy the beauty and natural wonders of our region.
