Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Cutting Edge Tree Professionals LLC incorporated in January 2015. In April 2015, Cutting Edge bought Fuller’s Quality Tree Service and together have become an effective team. Fuller’s has been in business for eight years prior.
Q: Who are your loyal customers?
A: We have a tremendous number of clients in State College, who are homeowners that appreciate expert tree work with a detailed cleanup. We get calls because people hear about us, but we get calls back because of how we leave our clients’ properties the first time. Additionally, our loyal customers are the families that know creating a relationship based on trust and integrity is the foundation to great service and a rewarding customer experience. Our clients are loyal to us because we were loyal to them first. We relate to each client individually according to their own needs.
Q: What makes Centre County a great place to live?
A: Centre County is a tight-knit community that thrives on small business and higher education. It has been said that Happy Valley is recession-proof, and we believe that stems from having all the essentials from great K-12 school systems, to abundant business and work opportunities, to safe hospitals and to Penn State University.
Q: What do you offer the community?
A: Primarily stewardship. Good stewardship saturates every part of our business, such as having safe work zones set up because we care about neighborhood kids running around. We also believe the community is affected by the people in it, and we strive to make our community a better place. We do this by creating a culture founded on specific core values, as well as by giving back to the community through service projects.
Q: What’s on the horizon for the upcoming year?
A: This year we have several exciting events and milestones. First, we are seeking an additional certified arborist climber to join our growing team. Second, our company will be holding our first annual 4th of July Potluck, which will take place during the Central PA 4th Fest. Third, we are excited to launch our new Plant and Tree Healthcare Program, to nurture and grow our client’s landscapes. We will be including fertilizing, pesticide application, inoculation and disease protection.
