Krispy Kreme Has a New Ice Cream-Inspired Doughnut Flavor Coming Soon
The summer solstice may be another month away, but Krispy Kreme is channeling the warm, sunny vibes early with a new limited-time doughnut flavor inspired by a classic ice cream treat: the Creamsicle.
"Summer flavors have a way of sparking instant happiness," Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme chief brand and product officer, explained in a statement. The exec also noted that the new treat is the first of its kind for the doughnut chain (which celebrates its 89th anniversary this year).
"Our first‑ever Orange Dreamsicle Original Glazed doughnuts are here to deliver that feel‑good flavor now," Holder added.
