Royal Caribbean expands top-tier VIP package to all ships
The Key is no longer the only VIP package that Royal Caribbean cruisers can purchase to upgrade their vacation across any stateroom category and ship.
While The Key gives passengers a taste of the VIP treatment - with perks like priority embarkation, access to the fast lane for certain onboard attractions, and an exclusive welcome lunch - those VIP benefits only go so far.
Royal Caribbean previously reserved concierge-style perks only for suite guests, with the most premium, personalized service only available to those staying in lavish Star Class suites on Oasis-, Quantum-, and Icon-class ships.
But now, Star Class-level perks are available to passengers sailing in any stateroom category on any ship - as long as they're willing to pay for them.

Royal Genie Package now available on any Royal Caribbean ship
As of June 2026, Royal Caribbean's Royal Genie Package is now available fleetwide, giving passengers sailing on any ship the opportunity to pay for access to top-tier VIP perks, even if they're not staying in a suite.
The package offers a suite-level cruise experience for passengers sailing in any type of stateroom. You could book the Royal Genie Package for a sailing in an interior stateroom if you wanted. Just keep in mind that in a smaller room, it's difficult to take advantage of included in-room dining benefits. But even if you don't use the in-room dining perk, the Royal Genie Package will give your cruise experience a luxurious upgrade.

"The Royal Genie Package offers an elevated VIP experience with personalized service and a curated collection of premium benefits designed to make every moment onboard seamless and unforgettable," Royal Caribbean says in its description of the Royal Genie Package benefits.
By bringing the Royal Genie Package to ships across the fleet, Royal Caribbean is offering cruisers who have enjoyed the popular Star Class Suite Royal Genie benefits on newer ships a way to get similar perks when sailing on older ships in the Freedom, Radiance, Voyager, and Vision classes.
What do you get with the Royal Genie Package?
The Royal Genie Package comes with your own personal Royal Genie - the cruise line's version of a butler - who makes your cruise wishes their command. Your Royal Genie can handle your onboard reservations, get you prime seats for shows, plan special celebrations, coordinate special requests, and more.
Package benefits extend much farther than butler service and priority access to onboard experiences though. The package also includes a beverage package, WiFi, ultra-inclusive dining benefits that cover almost every onboard dining experience, suite lounge access, and luxury in-room amenities.

The price for the Royal Genie Package varies by sailing, averaging around $300 per adult, per day. The price for kids is typically about $200 per child, per day. If one passenger purchases the package, all passengers aged six and older in the stateroom must purchase it for the entire sailing. That makes the Royal Genie Package a major splurge.
"The Royal Genie Package makes sense for cruisers who want full-service, butler-style treatment with upgraded perks.
