1 taken to the hospital after 2-vehicle crash

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash early Monday in Harris Township.

According to police, a tractor-trailer driven by Paul Rodkey, 31, of Madera, was headed east at about 9:30 a.m. along Earlystown Road when it stopped to make a turn at the intersection of Linden Hall Road. The trailer was then struck from the rear by Donna Krebs, 78, of Centre Hall.

Krebs sustained a head injury and was taken via EMS to Mount Nittany Medical Center, police said. She was cited for careless driving. Her car was towed from the scene.
