Brewers of Pa. hosting symposium in State College

The Brewers of Pennsylvania, the state’s official brewers guild, will host the third annual Mid-Atlantic Brewers’ Symposium Sept. 7-8.

The 2017 Mid-Atlantic Brewers’ Symposium at the Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center will feature eight 45-minute seminars from leaders in the craft brewing industry. Due to recent changes in Pennsylvania liquor laws, presenters will review new regulations to educate brewers.

Seminar topics will also include production of hard cider, thinking like a CFO, plans for hops trials and research, funding brewery expansion, increasing consumer demand on social media and protecting your brewery.

The symposium is free to BOP members. Paid participation is required by non-member licensed breweries and homebrewers.
