State College police reportedly revive overdose victim
State College police were able to revive a man who had reportedly overdosed on heroin.
According to police, officers responded to a call at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 400 block of Brandywine Drive. Officers reportedly found that the 24-year-old male had overdosed.
Officers were able to deliver two doses of naloxone and revive the man, police said. He was evaluated by EMS and taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
The man does not face any charges, police said. Naloxone is often used in the treatment of those suspected of overdosing on opioids.
