2-vehicle crash sends 4 to hospital
The crash occurred at about 1:45 p.m. in front of Stanley Steemer off East College Avenue.
Walker Township Fire Company Captain Jim Heckman didn’t know what caused the crash, but said the area has been an unsolved issue for years. The fire company responds to at least 10 crashes a year near the business and Valero gas station.
Damage on the two vehicles — both compact cars — indicated that they hit head-on.
Those injured were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, though Heckman does not believe anyone’s injuries are serious.
State police at Rockview, Pleasant Gap Fire Company and medics from Centre LifeLink, Bellefonte and Mount Nittany Medical Center also responded to the crash.
