Police asking public for help to find missing central Pa. woman
A missing person investigation is underway in Mifflin County for a woman who was last heard from Wednesday afternoon, Mifflin County Regional police said Tuesday.
Donna Keller, 40, was reported missing Friday after family members found her red vehicle along state Route 655 with a yellow bag in the window, though it was operational, Keller’s sister, Betsy Miller, said.
“The first couple days, I said, ‘It’s weird for her to not say anything, but if she just wants a couple days away from everyone, give her a couple days,’ ” Miller said. “But when we found her car ... that’s something that definitely struck us as odd.”
Keller is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, of average build, with blonde hair and blue eyes and typically wears glasses. She was wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and knee-high black boots Wednesday.
There is no evidence of a “violent act,” Det. Jessica Aurand said Tuesday. Those with information about Keller’s whereabouts should call 717-248-9607 and not intervene, she said.
