PennDOT announces road work in Schuylkill County
PennDOT District 5 has announced roadwork for Schuylkill County beginning June 29 and continuing through July 10.
June 29 to July 3
Milling and paving will be done on Zion Grove and Ringtown Road between Ringtown and Route 339.
Motorists can expect lane restrictions and delays during hours of 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the affected zone. PennDOT officials urge caution when driving in the construction area.
July 6 to July 10
Milling and paving will be performed on Morea Road between Mahanoy and West Mahanoy townships between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists can expect lane restrictions and delays when traveling through the work zone.
The work on both projects will be done by PennDOT highway maintenance forces.
