The Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust has sold the Nittany Mall and the North Hanover Mall in Hanover for $32.3 million, according to a news release.
Nittany Mall General Manager Dan May said the malls were in part bought by Namdar, a Great Neck, N.Y., realty group. He said there were more investors involved in the purchase, though he was not privy to that information.
May said the purchase would not affect Nittany Mall customers.
“Nothing is going to change,” May said. “This is still going to be a mall, and no customers coming into the mall are really going to notice any difference.”
Namdar did not respond to messages left at its corporate office.
