John Kasich to visit Penn State Brandywine
Republican Party presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich will be the second presidential candidate to come to a Penn State campus this primary season.
Penn State has announced the Thursday visit to the Brandywine campus in Media, Pennsylvania. Kasich will hold a 2:30 p.m. town hall meeting in the Commons Building gymnasium. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
Free tickets are available at:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/media-pa-town-hall-w-gov-john-kasich-tickets-24710018330?aff=es2.
According to the university, “pre-registration is strongly preferred but not required. Possession of a ticket does not guarantee admission to the event. Seating is general admission and is first come, first served.”
Bernie Sanders, a Vermont senator, visited University Park Tuesday. No other presidential hopefuls have announced planned stops in Centre County or a Penn State campus.
