Water leak causes State College road restrictions

An “emergency water leak” is causing road problems in downtown State College.

According to the borough, “There will be lane restrictions at the 100 block of South Atherton Street between College and Beaver avenues due to an emergency water leak. This temporary lane closure is limited to one lane southbound.”

Those restrictions will keep roads tied up until late evening.

“Traffic delays are possible,” a borough release said.
