State College man arrested on meth charges

A State College man is in jail for allegedly distributing crystal methamphetamine, according to a press release from Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office.

An investigation conducted by the Office of Attorney General's Centre County Drug Task Force led to the arrest of Joseph Paul McGrory, 30.

Investigators named McGrory an alleged co-conspirator of Joseph Mishok, who was arrested May 23 after a three-month investigation by the task force. The release said the investigation continued, leading the task force to McGrory.

Investigators alleged that McGrory took part in the delivery of 3.6 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

McGrory was charged with two counts of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, counts of conspiracy/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in the Centre County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. He waived a preliminary hearing on the charges.
