Man arrested, charged for alleged bank robbery

State police at Lamar say a Camp Hill man robbed a bank.

Warren Pletcher, 28, entered the M&T Bank in at 238 Hogan Blvd. in Mill Hall and put a note on the counter to demand money in $50 and $100 bills, police say. A teller gave $1,150 to the man, who fled the bank in the direction of Ruby Tuesday’s.

The alleged robbery occurred at 11:16 a.m. Friday.

Authorities posted a still photo from the bank’s surveillance photo to social media, causing tips to come in that the man was Pletcher. Police followed the lead and contacted Pletcher, who agreed to meet with troopers, according to a release.

Police determined that some clothing worn by Pletcher matched the man in the bank. Pletcher’s vehicle, according to police, also contained clothes and sunglasses worn in the robbery.

Pletcher was arrested and charged with felony robbery, misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
