Gabe’s plans to open at the Nittany Mall, meaning all four of the shopping center’s anchor locations could be filled for the first time in more than three years.

The discount clothing retailer plans to move into the 60,200-square-foot space vacated in April 2018 by Bon-Ton, a spokesperson for the mall’s ownership group wrote in an email Thursday.

It’s unclear when the business may open. The chain plans to renovate the space and did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Dunham’s Sporting Goods has been the mall’s only anchor store for about a year, but that is expected to soon change. Rural King plans to have a grand opening March 27 at the former Sears location.

And a $120 million mini-casino is planned for the former Macy’s location, though an opening date might not come until the back half of 2022.
