Restaurant near Bellefonte set to close after nearly 40 years. ‘It has been an honor’

A Bellefonte-area restaurant is set to close after nearly 40 years in business.

Mr. Hot Dog & More, 807 Pleasantview Blvd., is scheduled to close Nov. 22, owners Jim, Sandy and Jeramy Condo posted Sunday on Facebook. They plan to sell the business.

“This decision has not been taken lightly, and we sincerely appreciate the support and patronage you have extended to us over the years,” they wrote. “We want to thank all of our past employees for all of their hard work and friend ship and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to our great customers for supporting us for the past 37 years.”

Beyond hot dogs, the restaurant offers breakfast sandwiches, soups, sandwiches and dinners. No item, according to a menu posted in February 2022, cost more than $9.75.

“We will miss seeing you and the great conversations,” they wrote. “Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your loyalty and support throughout the years. It has been an honor to serve you and we wish you the best.”
