King Wealth Strategies has two new team members, Kim Graham and Tina Yarnell.

Graham, who retired from the U.S Marine Corps after 20 years of service, is the director of communications and engagement for King and provides consulting services for business development, education and coaching. She also founded a consulting company, Curriculum and Training Solutions.

Yarnell is the operations specialist and branch professional and manages new account processing and tracks the internal flow of essential documents. She has worked in the securities industry since 2000.

David Parker, a bariatric surgeon, recently joined Geisinger Health System and will see patients at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital, Geisinger-Gray’s Woods in Port Matilda and Geisinger Medical Center.

He completed his general surgery residency in 2008 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Ga., and a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in 2013. He served as chief of bariatric surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Md.

Kish Bank promoted Terra Decker, assistant vice president and BSA officer, to vice president of compliance & BSA training Director.

Decker’s career at Kish started in October 2006 as branch manager in Reedsville. She moved up to operations as the business service support manager, assistant BSA officer in the bank secrecy act/fraud department in 2011 and later took on full BSA Officer responsibilities.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council elected six new members to its board of directors, among them is Jacqueline Edmondson, associate vice president and associate dean for undergraduate education at Penn State.

She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy, policy and higher education. Her research focuses broadly around issues of engagement with a specific attention to policy, texts, rural education and teacher education. The author of eight books, she is also the editor of “Music in American Life: An Encyclopedia of the Songs, Styles, Stars and Stories That Shaped Our Culture.”
