John Valentik and Ryan Burke purchased an interest in One on One personal training company to become partners.

Valentik, who has been with One on One since 2012, is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a performance enhancement specialist.

Burke has been with One on One since 2007 and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal fitness trainer, a Titleist Performance Institute certified instructor and a certified Precision Nutrition coach.

Shaner Hotels promoted Mandy Hartley to director of finance.

Hartley joined Shaner in 2002 to provide administrative support to J.B. Griffin, then chief financial officer. She was promoted to special projects manager in 2012, and her responsibilities then expanded into finance, accounting and budgeting for Shaner Hotels operations.

She will be responsible for providing financial performance analytics to the corporate leadership team. She also serves as president of the J.B. Griffin Memorial Foundation.

Mount Nittany Health hired Janet Cady as coordinator of the organization’s new lung nodule program.

Cady has worked at Mount Nittany Medical Center for 11 years in clinical nursing and administrative roles, most recently as a registered nurse clinical educator. She is responsible for ensuring the program optimizes the quality of life for adults in central Pennsylvania through the early detection of lung cancer, by use of evidence-based best practices and a team approach.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center hired Dana Thies as director of nursing.

Thies graduated from Penn State and has about 20 years of experience in behavioral health and long term, ambulatory and intensive care.
