The federal government is sending more than 400 million masks to health centers and pharmacies across the country.
The masks will come from the Strategic National Stockpile and are limited to three per person.
N95 masks offer better protection against the COVID-19 virus and have been both expensive and hard to find.

Starting next week, many national and local pharmacies will be distributing masks. The N95s will be distributed by pharmacies through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program, which included Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS.
Rite Aid, on North Atherton, will have masks at the front entrance and the pharmacy once the shipment comes in.
Pharmacies inside of grocery chains Weis, Wegmans and Giant will also be a part of this program. A complete list of pharmacies in the federal program can be found on the CDC’s website.
Currently, Boalsburg Apothecary and Moshannon Valley Pharmacy are not aware of any incoming shipments of N95 masks.
Community health centers will also receive masks for distribution and can be found using this online locator. One hundred community health centers will receive masks in the week of Jan. 24, including three in Pennsylvania, according to the Health and Resources Administration.
