A YouTube star who travels the US visited Gulfport and Biloxi. Here’s his review.
Beautiful beaches and rich history. That’s what popular travel YouTuber Lord Spoda found in Mississippi.
Lord Spoda and his wife travel the U.S. in their Ford Bronco and film their experiences of the walkability, downtown life, history and architecture they come across.
In October, the couple made two videos of two Mississippi cities: Gulfport and Biloxi. Here’s what they experienced.
Gulfport
In Lord Spoda’s first video of the trip, he traveled through Gulfport and said that he and his wife “were totally surprised at what we saw there.”
The beginning of the video shows Lord Spoda in his Bronco, driving from Lafayette, Louisiana; but then, the video cuts to an ocean scene in the Gulf of Mexico with seagulls nearby.
“There are miles and miles of white sand beach...,” he said. “This place rivals, in beauty, anywhere else I’ve seen in the U.S., especially if you love beaches.”
This video currently has more than 100,000 views and 1.8k likes. There are also more than 500 comments.
“Great shots! Glad you’re shedding a positive light on this city and it’s beautiful coastline,” one viewer commented.
Biloxi
In the next video of his trip to Mississippi, Lord Spoda filmed his experience in Biloxi.
In addition to visiting the home of Jefferson Davis and the Presidential Library, Lord Spoda traveled through the historic neighborhoods of Biloxi, visited Biloxi’s beach and dined at McElroy’s Seafood Restaurant.
This video has more than 74,000 views, 1.4k likes and 400 comments.
“Biloxi is my hometown, and I was surprised to see someone vlog about it. I’m so thankful to see its all love and support,” a viewer commented.
