Alexandria man killed in crash

Parry K. Packer, of Alexandria, was pronounced dead on the scene of a vehicle crash Thursday in Blair County.

Packer was traveling north on state Route 453 in Tyrone Township when police say he failed to negotiate a left turn onto Kettle Road, traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment.

State Police at Huntingdon responded to the crash.
