Police identify man killed in logging accident

Daniel Craig Buchanan, 43, died in a logging accident, according to state police at Huntingdon.

Troopers responded at about noon Thursday to Owl Hollow Road near Baptist Church Road in Clay Township for a man trapped under a tree. Police said that Buchanan was cutting down trees.

One of the trees, they said, uprooted and landed on him. He died as a result of his injuries.
