The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is alerting drivers traveling into Centre County for Penn State football of lane restrictions along U.S. Route 322 this weekend.

Drivers will still encounter single-lane traffic patterns heading both east and west along 322 just west of Seven Mountains, a PennDOT news release said. Motorists heading to the Saturday football game between Penn State and Rutgers should anticipate travel delays and allow for extra travel time.

Current construction is in phase two of three, PennDOT said, and will create a new local interchange on 322 at Sand Mountain Road. Drivers are encouraged to check road conditions by visiting www.511PA.com.
