State College police are seeking the whereabouts of a missing Penn State student.

Police reported Thursday that Yibo “Robert” Wei, 21, had made threats to harm himself then disappeared. Wei’s family lives in China, and his current location is unknown.

Wei was described by police as 6 feet 1inch tall weighing 160 pounds. He does not have a vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State College police at 234-7150 or submit an anonymous tip through the police website.
