Move your vehicles off Ferguson Township streets before snowfall
Ferguson Township is reminding residents and businesses that vehicles cannot be parked on streets when snowfall reaches more than 2 inches.
From 7 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday, a winter weather advisory is in effect, according to the National Weather Service. Up to 4 inches of snow is possible.
Vehicles must be removed from streets to allow for township public works crews to plow them, according a press release. Those that aren’t moved will be ticketed or towed.
Sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after the snowfall ends, the release said.
Though, don’t shovel, plow or blow the snow from your sidewalk, driveway or parking lot onto the streets.
