What’s open in Centre County on MLK Day?

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Monday. Here’s a list of places you might need in Centre County and when (or if) they’ll be open:

▪ U.S. Post Office — Closed

▪ Centre County Government office — Closed

▪ Bellefonte borough office — open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

▪  State College borough office — closed

▪ Centre Hall borough office — open

▪ Philipsburg borough office — open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

▪ Banks — Check with your local branch

▪ Schools — Bald Eagle Area School District, Bellefonte Area School District, Penns Valley Area School District, St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy and State College Area School District will not hold classes on Monday. Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District is having a snow make-up day for Dec. 14.

▪ CATABUS — will operate on regular schedule

▪ Schlow Centre Region Library — open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

▪ Centre County Library — open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
