Firefighters quickly extinguish basement fire in State College home
Firefighters put a quick stop to a basement fire in a State College duplex Wednesday morning.
Alpha Fire Company arrived on scene at 461 Easterly Parkway at about 8:30 a.m. The fire was contained within three minutes, Alpha Assistant Fire Chief Rusty Scheiner said.
Centre LifeLink also responded. There were no reported injuries and no damage to the home, Scheiner said.
A cause has not yet been determined.
